04|11|09   US Tour: Photoblog – Chicago, IL (April 6th, Day 4)

So after the Sunday night show in Chicago, Evan and I were glad to have a day off. We spent most of the day cruising around downtown Chicago, taking the train around the loop, walking down to Navy Pier, going shopping on Michigan Ave. (nicknamed the “magnificent mile”), and having Potbellys for lunch.

After hiking around Chicago for the better part of 6 hours, we headed back to Andrew’s place to freshen up a bit, picked up my friend Nick, and then met up at Giordano’s with my old college friends Adele, Mark, and Tom, who had all come out to the show the night before, as well. Monday night Giordano’s was a tradition for us at NU, and so, fittingly, we spent most of the night reminiscing about our days at Northwestern University, whilst feasting on one of the best deep-dish pizzas Chicago has to offer. Yum!

When we finally got back, I did some blogging, but got distracted watching Evan play a zombie-shoot-em-up kind of game on Andrew’s Xbox 360. Looked hella fun. I slept pretty sound after all the walking and food that day. Evan didn’t fare quite as well: apparently I snored very loudly that night. All apologies, my friend ;).

Yay! Check out the new Enright House Shop I just finished making! Even if you’re not the type of person who buys music anymore, do take a look at how pretty and shiny it is! :)
